Boys and Girls Youth Basketball League

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31, 2011

A volunteered–coached program introduces the fundamentals focusing on passing, shooting, offense, defense, sportsmanship and fun! Team/coach/players/car pool requests are NOT guaranteed, in order to better balance teams. One Parent is required to be PAYS certified. Need to complete youth athletic registration form and include child's heights, school and skill level. Practices vary with coach's availability; typically Monday-Friday (1 evening per week) between 5-9pm at a District 23 school and the Gary Morava Center. The games are held on Saturdays at School Districts 21, 26 and Gary Morava Center. Actual game times depend on number of teams within the league. First game is December 3rd. Picture day is set for December 3 at Gary Morava Center. No games 12/24 & 12/31. The fee does include uniforms. Uniforms are distributed by the coach prior to the first game. Any registrations taken after the registration deadline will go on the waitlist. Names will be taken off the waitlist as spots become available. Volunteer coaches are always needed for the league!
